FAQs

Answers to common questions about hiring our rustic tables and cross-back chairs.

How much is delivery and where do you cover?

We cover Sussex, Surrey and surrounding areas. Delivery and collection are calculated based on mileage from our headquarters in Billingshurst. Your quote will show the delivery and collection charge clearly.

Do you set the tables and chairs up?

Absolutely. Setup is included in the hire price. We'll deliver everything, position the tables and chairs where they need to go and collect them afterwards.

Can I hire just tables or just chairs?

Of course. Hire what you need. You can hire tables, chairs or both.

How many people can sit at each table?

Our rustic tables seat six guests, with three people seated along each side.

When will you deliver and collect?

We'll confirm your delivery, setup and collection arrangements 28 days before your event, when your remaining balance is due. Where possible, we'll coordinate with your venue and other suppliers so everything fits around their access requirements and timings.

Can the tables and chairs be used outside?

No. Our furniture is made from wood and is not designed to be left outside or exposed to the weather. It must be kept dry and under suitable cover.

What happens if it rains?

You'll get wet! More importantly, the tables, chairs and seat pads will need to be moved under cover and kept dry, as the furniture isn't waterproof.

How much is the deposit?

A 25% deposit secures your booking and reserves the furniture for your date. The remaining balance is due 28 days before your event.

Can I change the number of tables or chairs after booking?

You can make changes to your order free of charge up until 28 days before your event, subject to availability. Once you're within 28 days and the balance has been paid, reductions to the order won't be refunded.

Do we need to clean everything afterwards?

No. We don't expect you to spend the morning after your wedding cleaning tables. We'll look after that.

Can we move the tables and chairs after you've set them up?

You can, but they must remain inside or under suitable cover and should be moved carefully. Our rustic tables are heavy and require a two-person lift. We recommend wearing gloves when moving them.

Is there a minimum order?

No. There is no minimum order, although delivery and collection charges will still apply.

Do you need vehicle access to the setup area?

Ideally, yes. Our standard quote allows for a carrying distance of up to 25 metres from our vehicle to the setup area. If access is further away, involves steps, difficult terrain or restricted vehicle access, just let us know when enquiring so we can account for it.

Can the tables and chairs go on uneven ground?

They need to be positioned on suitable, level ground. Otherwise your wine might not stay in the glass for very long.

How long does setup take?

Usually, not very long. The exact time depends on the size of your order, venue access and where everything needs to be positioned. For particularly large or complicated setups, it can take considerably longer, so we'll plan the timings with you and your venue beforehand.

Do you offer damage insurance?

We don't automatically add a damage waiver to every booking. If you'd like additional cover, you can choose to add our optional damage waiver. Ask us about this when booking.

What happens if our venue changes the access times?

Let us know as soon as you can. We'll do our best to accommodate the change and work with your venue.

If we add more furniture later, will it match?

It will. Our tables and chairs are from the same ranges, so additional items will match your original order, subject to availability.

Can we keep the furniture for longer than 24 hours?

Our standard hire period is 24 hours. If you'd like to keep the furniture for longer, just arrange it with us in advance. Additional days are charged at 10% of the original equipment hire price per additional day.
